About the Alex Rossi Harmonica Academy
The Alex Rossi Harmonica Academy is a structured online learning platform designed to take you from your very first note to confident blues playing, advanced technique, and improvisation.
At the heart of the Academy is a step-by-step five-e-book curriculum, giving you a clear and progressive path from the fundamentals to more advanced playing. Beginners always know what to practice next, while more experienced players can dive deeper into bending, chording, phrasing, blues vocabulary, and improvisation.
The Academy is designed for harmonica players of all levels — from beginners picking up a harmonica for the first time, to intermediate players who feel stuck, and experienced musicians looking to take their blues and diatonic harmonica playing to the next level.
Alongside the five e-books, members get access to the interactive Harmonica Tool, a digital practice companion that makes learning more visual, practical, and engaging. Explore notes, scales, chords, tuning, bending, ear training, and other musical concepts while putting what you learn into practice. New lessons and learning materials will be added regularly, giving members fresh content and new ways to keep improving.
The Academy was created by Alex Rossi, an internationally recognized blues, rock, Brazilian, and jazz harmonica artist with more than 30 years of experience as a performer, recording artist, and teacher. Alex has performed and recorded around the world and has been featured on BBC Radio 2, the Abbey Road playlist, as well as in television and film productions.
After more than three decades of performing and teaching, Alex created the Academy to bring his experience into a clear, practical, and complete learning system — helping harmonica players practice with purpose, understand what they are playing, develop their own sound, and ultimately make real music with the harmonica.
